On-Call Emergency Medicine Physician, Miami

Atria brings together a multidisciplinary team of in‑house physicians to provide proactive, preventive, and precision‑based care for members and their families, optimizing lifespan and healthspan through meticulous screening and tailored interventions.
Responsibilities
- Assess a patient’s condition to determine severity and outline immediate treatment steps.
- Elicit medical history and detailed information about ailments through patient interviews.
- Perform physical examinations to diagnose and treat patients.
- Stabilize or attend to the patient’s basic needs and refer to a specialist, admit, or transfer as necessary.
- Make a preliminary diagnosis with limited information and immediately begin treatment.
- Interact effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds and a wide range of personality types and ages.
- Complete legal treatment records for the benefit of other healthcare professionals.
- Promote health education and liaise with other medical and non‑medical staff to ensure quality treatment and teamwork.
- Respond to house call requests within a reasonable response time.
- Take weekend calls at least once a month.
Qualifications
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.ACLS certified, PALS certified.Residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine by ABEM.5 years of emergency room experience preferred.Experience with point‑of‑care ultrasound and diagnostic testing preferred (e.g., BioFire).Experience with Athena preferred, but not required.Prior concierge medicine experience preferred, but not required.Additional Information
