Position Overview
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures
- Ensure all instruments, supplies, and sterile equipment are ready and available
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and anticipating surgical needs
- Maintain a sterile field and perform counts of sponges, instruments, and sharps
- Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and transporting as needed
- Support room turnover between cases and help maintain a clean and safe surgical environment
