About The Position

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join the Structural Heart team at a leading outpatient cardiology clinic in Seattle. This role involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities, supporting a specialized structural heart team.

Responsibilities :

Perform patient intake including vitals (manual BP), hearing / vision screening, and 12-lead EKGs

Assist in preparing patients for exams and procedures

Conduct specimen collection (throat, urine, blood via venipuncture) and basic lab testing

Manage immunizations, TB test administration, and nebulizer treatments

Support chart prep, medication refills, and record requests

Handle basic office tasks, including telephone triage and pharmacy communication

Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Active WA MA-C license – REQUIRED

BLS Certification – REQUIRED

Minimum 6 months of experience in adult outpatient settings (cardiology preferred)

EPIC charting experience – preferred

Must be a quick learner and effective communicator

Reliable transportation required; not a floating position

Additional Details :

Daily Census : ~25 patients

Patient Age Group : Adults & Geriatrics

No weekends, holidays, or on-call required

Not open to pending license – must be active at submission

May extend due to upcoming maternity leave coverage
