Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - 0.85 FTE

About this role :

As a part-time (.85 FTE) Trauma Services Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Advanced Practice Provider; APP) in Trauma Services, you will work with the Traumateamon both the Surgical Trauma unit and the Shock Trauma ICU at Intermountain Medical Center as a collaborative member of a multi-disciplinary team supporting advanced therapies for complex trauma and critically ill patients.

Intermountain Medical Center is the premier academic medical center and flagship quaternary hospital for Intermountain Health. This state-of-the-art, level I trauma facility currently has 96 ICU beds and 4 specialized ICUs, and is in process of expanding. The Shock Trauma ICU currently has 24 beds with the ability to overflow to other ICUs.

In this role you can anticipate :

• Working 0.85 FTE (full-time benefits eligible)
• Practicing at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, a Level I Trauma Center
• 24 / 7 trauma coverage; to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• 8-12 hour shifts; including day shift, night shift, and swing shift
• Bed-side and tele-health trauma coverage while on shift
• No call expectation outside of shift hours
• Including relocation assistance if relocating 50+ miles
