About The Position

Job Title : Hybrid Cath Lab / IR Technologist

Location : Lafayette, IN

Assignment Length : 13 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM (may start as early as 6 : 30 AM)

Schedule : Variable weekdays with rotating after-hours call + every 3rd weekend

Start Date : ASAP (IN license & certs must be in hand at submission)

Position Overview :

Join a top-tier hospital in Lafayette, Indiana as a Hybrid Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Tech for a 13-week contract. This dual-role position requires solid experience in both Cath Lab and IR procedures —a hard requirement. Enjoy a collaborative environment, a guaranteed 40-hour workweek, and exposure to a wide variety of advanced interventional procedures.

Shift Details :

Shift : 10-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM; may start as early as 6 : 30 AM)

Call Requirement :

10 on-call shifts / month (Cath Lab & Hybrid OR)

Call-back window : 3 hours

Weekend Requirement : Every 3rd weekend

Block Schedule : May be discussed with manager

Guaranteed Hours : 40 per week (based on scheduled shift type)

Experience & Qualifications :

Minimum Experience : 1.5 years required

First-time travelers : Accepted

IR + Cath Lab Skills : REQUIRED (hard stop)

Required Certifications (must be in hand at submission) :

ARRT (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

BLS – Basic Life Support

ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

Note : Pending state license not accepted . All credentials must be active at time of submission.

Unit Details :

Dual-role : Interventional Radiology + Cath Lab

Facility uses Cerner for charting

Part of a short-term acute care hospital

Free on-site parking available

Additional Information :

Holiday RTO : Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)

COVID Patients : May be required to provide care
