NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Denver consulting team.

As a Senior Accountant consultant, you’ll supervise, track, and evaluate day-to-day activities. Senior Accountant responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. The day-to-day responsibilities of our Senior Accountant will vary significantly depending on a company’s size and needs.

To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with risk management.

Responsibilities :

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A / R, A / P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors

Qualifications :

Accounting or Finance degree (BS / BA / MBA)

Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

Strong leadership qualities

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Client service and results-focused

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
