Experience : 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting required; 3 months minimum travel experience preferred

License : Current nursing license in Vermont required

Certifications : ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS (all certifications must be uploaded with profile)

Must-Have : Bachelor’s degree preferred, must have own vehicle, permanent address must be included in profile, and all requested time off (RTO) must be noted and verified at upload

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse to work in the emergency department.

The emergency department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Upon arrival, patients are promptly screened by an emergency department nurse to determine the severity of conditions and appropriate treatment courses.

The emergency department is fully staffed around the clock and serves approximately 14,000 patient visits each year.

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

Requests after an offer may lead to rescinded offers.

RTO requests submitted after upload will not be approved, and no more than five days of RTO will be accepted.

All certifications must be in hand to be considered for this position.

Block scheduling will not be considered for this position.

Holiday RTO is not available for this need, as RTO is reserved for permanent staff.

No on-call, call-back, or charge positions apply.

The hourly pay rate remains the same without overtime rates.
