Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in Fairfield, CA. This contract-to-hire role focuses on serving students in grades 1 and 2 with mild to moderate disabilities. This permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity is designed for educators passionate about delivering tailored instruction to support diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student progress
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of students in grades 1 and 2
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation and reports
• Utilize behavior management and intervention strategies to foster a positive learning environment
