Transformation Delivery Lead

The Transformation Delivery Lead is critical to the execution of strategic initiatives aligned to the strategy of a segment / function. This roll-up your sleeves resource complements the Transformation Director for the assigned Initiative, managing the planning and execution of moderate and large scope business projects through all phases of initiation, development and implementation. This resource partners closely with the transformation delivery team and relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency into the details, progress, risks, issues, etc. associated with a strategic initiative. Finally, this resource works to empower delivery teams, accelerating delivery through an appropriate balance of business agility and governance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, strategy, and requirements, while developing and maintaining integrated plans, success metrics, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Lead activities such as milestone planning, benefit tracking, budget planning and stakeholder alignment and approval
  • Proactively own progress and management reporting, providing a holistic and objective view of results
  • Identify, analyze, mitigate, document, and control risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide effective and regular communication across the project team, stakeholders, sponsors and management through well-documented artifacts and regular updates
  • Assess resource requirements, define team roles and responsibilities, and align expectations and goals to ensure successful project execution
  • Support and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the Company, Divisional and Operations strategy
  • Stay current to market and industry trends through training, self-study, trade contacts, and trade and industry conferences
  • Partner with IT to ensure alignment and delivery of technology initiatives

Requirements :

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in financial services
  • Ability to think strategically, assess alternatives for short and long-term impacts, and act decisively
  • Knowledge of project planning and tracking tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work deliverables
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Understanding of Insurance products, administration compliance, operations and systems, and relevant financial products.
  • Actively champions change initiatives, serving as a change agent to support portfolio stability and transformation.
  • Contributes to root cause analysis to address disruptions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Advanced knowledge of project planning and tracking tools.
