Responsibilities

About the role : The Sr Cybersecurity Engineer develops, deploys, monitors, tunes, evaluates, reports, and maintains systems and procedures to identify and mitigate threats to corporate networks, assets, and users. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and tuning security technologies such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), SIEM, User Behavior Analytics, Host Intrusion Prevention (HIPS), and Web / Email Gateways. The role involves both technical implementation and communication of security requirements to management and leadership.

Job Duties

• Engineer, design, install, and support security technologies including DLP, HIPS, SIEM, Endpoint Security, Vulnerability Management, Email Gateways, Breach Mitigation, Certificate Management, SSL encryption, Identity Management, Cloud Security, Database Security, Web Gateways
• Identify potential technologies to enhance enterprise security
• Use threat intelligence, incident response, and SIEM analysis to develop custom rules and policies for security technologies
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement security project plans
• Participate in risk assessments and incident response activities
• Update security procedures, standards, and technical requirements
• Propose and evaluate new security tools and systems
