NEEDED : Phlebotomy Technician

LOCATION : 805 Fox Hollow Road, Manchester, Kentucky 40962

SCHEDULE : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM, Monday – Thursday, 32 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Shall have valid certification to practice in the state of Kentucky as a Medical Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician or Phlebotomist.
• Must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Must show proof of experience with specimen collection, packaging and shipment to referral laboratories on resume.
• Knowledge of maintaining appropriate records.
• Experience of working in a correctional setting (preferred)
• Provide three (3) professional letters of reference.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of the Health Services Manual and Unit Procedures necessary to accomplish the mission described herein, ensuring that the Laboratory Procedure Manual is updated accordingly.
