Job descriptionBachelors Degree in construction or electrical field, or 5-10+ years of experience managing construction projects in large manufacturing / industrial environments, prefer electrical. Familiar with code compliance and building occupancy. Understands MV Distribution, e.g., Switch yard, GIS, Sub Stations, Construction of Substation Switch rooms
What Youll Do
- Maintain a safe work environment for Company and Contractor employees
- Develop a workable schedule taking in consideration other crafts schedule
- Develop Scope of Work for the project, that contractors can bid off of
- Ensure on time, or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, solve problems and prioritize execution
- Ability to evaluate construction, electrical one lines, drawings
- Validate contractor bids against cost / schedule estimates
- Evaluate, negotiate and process change orders, submittals and RFIs
- Provide clear, concise direction to trades helping prioritize efficient build-out
- Coordinate with the trades to sequence work adequately
- Troubleshoot, walk down, and resolve issues that arise from the field
- Quickly respond to queries and resolve any technical barriers to completion
- Develop templates and standards for future phases / projects
- Interact with third party inspection personnel and City / State / County inspectors
