Nuclear Medicine Technologist
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive materials, operate imaging equipment, and collaborate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic information while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established safety standards.
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures and ensure high-quality diagnostic results.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging and radiation detection equipment.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Document and process imaging results for physician interpretation.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain accurate records of isotope usage.
- Provide patient education and address questions regarding procedures.
Qualifications :
Active certification or eligibility as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT, ARRT-N, or equivalent).Current state licensure, if applicable.Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine imaging preferred.Knowledge of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and quality control procedures.Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills.
