About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : General Ultrasound

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift :

• 11 : 30 - 22 : 00
• 07 : 00 - 18 : 30

Experience : Minimum of four years as an Ultrasound Tech

License : Must have an active Sonography license with the state medical imaging board.

Certifications : BLS from the AHA required. Must be registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in both Abdomen and OB / GYN.

Variable start times between 07 : 00 and 11 : 30.

Position requires experience in utilizing ultrasound equipment for a variety of procedures.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Sonography, preferred.

Proficiency in areas including but not limited to Abdomen, Obstetrics, and Pediatric Ultrasound is required.

Must be knowledgeable in performing ultrasound-guided biopsies and other diagnostic procedures.

Ability to work with diverse patient age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics.

Experience with various ultrasound practices and protocols is essential.

Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability within a changing environment.

Strong commitment to patient care and safety is mandatory.

Experience in charting systems, specifically Epic, is a strict requirement.
