Responsibilities Work in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) within a hospital setting Patient population includes critically ill pediatric and cardiovascular patients Floating required to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical-surgical units as needed Day shifts available (4x12 hour schedule from 7 : 00 to 19 : 30), with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules Eight-week holiday contract with no time off permitted No local candidates within a 60-mile radius are eligible Must be prepared to meet strict attendance and punctuality policies Travelers are prioritized for floating assignments in accordance with hospital needs No request for time off (RTO) will be approved for this contract Holiday coverage is mandatory as part of contract requirements Requirements Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Preferred close to two years of RN experience in pediatric or cardiovascular ICU settings Two supervisory references required, including at least one from a supervisor or manager Must not have been a permanent employee with this health system within the last two years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625198.
