Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized IT Procurement Assistant to support our Information Technology team. This is a full-time, temporary position for an initial duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on organizational needs. The successful candidate will work both on-site and remotely, and play a critical role in coordinating and tracking hardware, software, and service orders.
Key Responsibilities :
Place purchase orders with vendors in a timely and accurate manner
Track and follow up on outstanding orders with vendors and internal stakeholders
Maintain clear and organized records of all procurement activities
Assist with processing and verifying invoices to ensure proper payment
Communicate status updates regularly to IT staff and escalate delays as needed
Qualifications :
Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support preferred
Familiarity with IT products and services is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site and remote environment
