SUMMARY : This position is primarily responsible for driving a truck or automobile over established route to deliver product to customers by performing the duties listed below.
MAIN TASKS / JOB DUTIES / GOALS :
- Reports to General Manager
- Should possess a CDL Class B and / or CDL Class A but not required
- This job requires intense lifting of up to 170 lbs per stop
- ALL in-house training prior to being on a route individually
- Deliver orders, samples, and POS materials to customers based on a daily established route
- Drive and operate a Hop & Wine Beverage vehicle
- Collect customer payments based on specified invoice terms
- Acts as liaison with account managers, dispatch, and warehouse staff to meet Company’s obligations to the client
- Comply with daily check-in / check-out procedures
- Ensure vehicle is maintained and report any issues immediately to operations / warehouse manager
- Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition
- Maintain a valid Virginia driver’s license at all times
- Maintain a valid health health card at all times
- Other duties as assigned by manager / supervisor
