Nurse Practitioner-Occupational Health

Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner needed for a contract Job opportunity with one of Yoh’s prodigious clients located in Macungie, PA. What You’ll Do: Deliver comprehensive on-site medical assessments, triage, and treatment for work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses. Dispense medications and provide specimen collection, drug screening, and alcohol testing per established protocols. Collaborate with employees, primary care providers, and specialists to facilitate early diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Educate employees on health, safety, and wellness, coordinating seminars and wellness events. Manage workers’ compensation cases and support injury prevention initiatives. Maintain detailed medical records, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and uphold clinic protocols. Work closely with corporate teams to expand services and promote a culture of health and safety. Required Skills & Qualifications: Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current licensure and certification by the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing or Physicians. National Board Certification. At least 2 years of adult medicine experience. Strong clinical evaluation, patient education, and case management skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Experience in Occupational Medicine, Workers’ Compensation, or DOT exams. Certifications such as DOT Medical Examiner, Urine Drug Screen Collector, or Breath Alcohol Technician. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing. Previous experience in occupational health settings or corporate health clinics. Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to workplace health. Additional Requirements: Certifications in DOT exams, drug screening, or alcohol testing are highly desirable. Ability to work independently, demonstrate professionalism, and uphold clinical standards. What’s In It for You?
