Caryl Mechanicals II, Inc. DBA : Griffin Heating & AC, LLC in Statesville, NC is currently looking for talented and motivated Residential and Commercial Installation Technicians as we are expanding our HVAC Installation Staff. As an HVAC Installation Technician, you are paid by the hour, not the job. We give you the time to install the job right, but most jobs are expected to be completed in a day. This keeps our customers happy and referral work comes in all year long.

We are a residential and light commercial HVAC service and installation company that has been serving Statesville, Taylorsville, Mooresville, Maiden, Hickory, Davidson and Catawba areas.

Installation Technician Requirements :

• Minimum of 2 year of industry experience installing furnace, air conditioners and ductwork preferred but we will consider the right apprentice with a great attitude and willingness to learn
• CFC Certification; NATE Certification is a plus but not required
• Must have a great team attitude with good communication & customer relationship skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimum supervision
• Clean MVR required
• Hard working, Dependable, Honest, Career minded
• Have basic hand tools for this trade

Schedule :

Experience :

• HVAC : 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location : In person

Responsibilities :

• Install HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Crawl consistently in attics and crawl spaces, climb ladders to roof tops, work outdoors.
• Educate customers about equipment and accessories.
• Communicate with customers in a professional and polite manner.
• Train junior team members
• Understand and adhere to local codes
• Learn start-up and testing procedures for all equipment installed.
• Braze, correctly size and run piping per manufacturers specifications.
• Stay up to date on new industry technology and products.
• Promote the company through performance, attitude and knowledge.
• All other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements :

• This job requires heavy lifting. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints (preferred)
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for installation and repair tasks
• All candidates are subject to pre-employment drug screenings and background checks
• All applicants shall, unless otherwise described in the job requirements, possess a valid driver’s license and shall demonstrate safe driving practice by submitting a recent DMV Safe Driving Record.
