Middleburg is a vertically integrated real estate investment, development, and construction firm specializing in attainable rental housing across the southeastern United States since 2004.
Middleburg is seeking to add an integral member to the Capital Markets team. This role serves as a critical link in helping to identify and support relationships with family offices, OCIO's, RIA / MFO's, and high-net-worth investors and facilitating timely responses to inquiries from current and prospective investors. This position will also schedule and coordinate meetings and events.
This position will be full-time, in person, located in the Vienna, VA headquarters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to the following :
- Assist the Capital Markets team with prospecting new investors at the high-net-worth, family office, and institutional levels by :
- Identifying who these new investors are
- Making contact to qualify interest
- Attending industry conferences
- Collecting / Populating key information and updating the CRM system
- Manage the process of on-boarding new investors through the subscription process.
- Work with external legal counsel to prepare offering materials for private capital offerings.
- Assist in coordinating the marketing process for any offering to private capital investors.
- Coordinate travel, meeting materials, and meeting agendas for the capital markets team.
- Coordinate and host quarterly investor gatherings.
- Coordinate logistics for the Annual Housing Summit.
- Collaborate with graphics design team to produce marketing materials used to present investment offerings to investors.
Requirements
Knowledge & Experience :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position, as well as the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work both with a team and independently with minimal supervision.Previous experience coordinating conferences or industry events.Strong financial and analytical skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of CRM software.Willingness to work in office full-time.Willingness to travel frequently and sometimes on short notice
