Speechifymaking reading barriers vanishseeks a Senior iOS Engineer to continue shipning the #18 productivity app in the App Store and pioneer new features.

Overview

With the Speechify iOS app riding Apples 2025 Design Award for inclusivity, we need a Senior iOS Engineer who can scale a high?traffic product, drive strategic product decisions and help evolve our architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production shipping for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Make product?roadmap decisions and work closely with product and design.
  • Own the existing complex architecture and propose scalable improvements.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated product team to shape the future of accessibility.
  • Actively ship production code, mentor engineers and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

  • Experience building products that scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of end?to?end product ownership, from inception to traction.
  • Customer obsession : continuously deliver the best user experience.
  • Product thinking : guide internal teams and designers to the right direction.
  • Speed : ship ideas quickly and evaluate trade?offs.
  • Remote?first mindset : engage remotely without frequent onsite huddles.
  • Technical skills : Swift, SwiftUI, concurrency, multithreading, CI / CD, Fastlane, Git.

    • Technical Requirements

  • Swift programming language.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Multithreading concurrency programming.
  • CI / CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Strong SOLID design principles.
  • Git proficiency and strategy understanding.

    • Salary

    $140,000 $200,000 USD / Year + Bonus + Stock, depending on experience.
