Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Urgent Care in Pennsylvania

Join our healthcare team as a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Urgent Care. This role involves providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients with diverse medical conditions in a fast-paced clinical environment. The position requires travel between multiple sites within a 30-mile radius, including Tarentum, Allison Park, and Ross Township, PA.

Job Details

Location : Various sites within 30 miles of Natrona Heights, PA

Start Date : November 1, 2025

End Date : January 31, 2026

Shift : 12-hour days, 8 AM - 8 PM

Duration : 13 weeks

Availability : Full-time (12+ shifts per month) or Part-time (6+ shifts per month)

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care or 1 year in emergency medicine

Comfortable seeing patients of all ages

Proficient in orthopedic procedures (splinting) and wound care

Ability to work independently without supervision

NPDB self-query must be submitted with application

Responsibilities

Provide care for patients with cold / flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns

Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, X-rays, EKGs, drawing blood, and administering injections

Refer high acuity cases to local ER as necessary

Maintain accurate and timely patient records
