\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in one of the busiest emergency care centers in Northeastern New York. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, from newborns to geriatrics, in a fast-paced environment.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Provide nursing care to patients in the emergency department.

    • \n

  • Administer medications and perform procedures as needed.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.

    • \n

  • Monitor vital signs and perform patient assessments.

    • \n

  • Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience.

    • \n

  • Experience with procedural sedation and rapid-sequence intubation (RSI).

    • \n

  • Proficiency in IV starts on children and arterial blood gas (ABG) draws.

    • \n

  • EPIC experience is required.

    • \n

  • Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS (American Heart Association).

    • \n

  • Must hold a valid New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License / Registration Certificate.
