We are seeking a certified Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner specializing in Obstetrics for a locum tenens assignment in Florida. This role begins on Dec 22, 2025, and spans a 4-day contract with 24-hour call-only shifts. There is no clinic work required; coverage is limited to call responsibilities on specified dates.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for obstetric cases
  • Respond to patient needs and emergencies as required during call shifts
  • Collaborate with medical staff and support teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided in the Epic EMR system
  • Adhere to facility guidelines and standards for women's healthcare

  • Florida state licensure required
  • Board certification as a Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) required
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
