Armed Security Officer

Star Pro Security Patrol, Inc. is seeking a competent and reliable Armed Security Officer to safeguard our client's school premises. The ideal candidate will be a highly trained individual capable of handling firearms responsibly and exercising sound judgment in potentially dangerous situations. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through vigilant surveillance, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to any threats or emergencies.

Responsibilities :

• Patrol and Monitor : Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas on foot to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms to detect and respond to suspicious activity or breaches.
• Enforce Security Procedures : Implement and enforce security procedures, including access control measures, visitor screening, and identification checks. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Deter Criminal Activity : Act as a visible deterrent to potential criminal activity by maintaining a professional and authoritative presence. Respond assertively to any attempts to breach security or endanger the safety of individuals on the premises.
• Handle Emergencies : Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or disturbances. Take appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
• Use of Firearms : Safely and responsibly carry and handle firearms in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Be proficient in the use of firearms and use them only as a last resort in situations where there is an imminent threat to life or property.
• Report Writing : Document all security-related incidents, activities, and observations in detailed reports. Maintain accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related occurrences.
• Collaborate with Authorities : Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as necessary. Provide assistance and support during investigations or legal proceedings.
• Customer Service : Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees, visitors, and clients. Provide assistance and information as needed to ensure a positive and secure experience for all.
