Join George Wall Construction as an Administrative Data Clerk in a fully remote capacity. This remote role empowers you to work from your home office while supporting our construction operations with critical data and administrative workflows. Key Responsibilities
Perform high-volume data entry and administrative support tasks from your remote workspace, including logging project documentation, updating records, and managing spreadsheets.
Maintain and organize digital information systems in a remote work environment; ensure records are accessible to both remote team members and on-site personnel.
Verify data for accuracy, completeness and consistency, collaborating with remote teams and on-site staff to resolve discrepancies.
Assist in building and maintaining remote filing systems—both digital and where applicable, coordinating remote access and version control.
Prepare and distribute reports, summaries and correspondence remotely, supporting project managers and departmental teams across remote and on-site functions.
Collaborate with remote and on-site colleagues to support administrative processes, schedule coordination, document retrieval and workflow tracking.
Identify opportunities for remote workflow improvement—suggest and help implement remote-friendly tools and procedures that enhance efficiency in our data and administrative operations.
Ensure confidentiality, data security and compliance protocols are maintained in a remote environment, supporting audit readiness, document retention and remote access controls.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree or certificate in business administration, records management or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, data management or clerical roles; experience in the construction industry is a plus.
Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel), database management and digital document systems; comfort working remotely and using remote collaboration platforms.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote work setting.
Reliable internet connection and dedicated remote workspace free from distractions; able to maintain productivity remotely.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of coordinating with both remote and on-site team members.
Self-motivated, disciplined and thrive in a remote role with minimal supervision.
Understanding of data confidentiality, document version control and remote work best practices.
