Job description? Schedules & attends community events. ? Develops relationships in the community on behalf of the facility. ? Works with the company marketing team to bring awareness of the facility's strengths and services. ? Trains new employees who serve as Clinical Liaisons. ? Builds relationships with contracted and non-contracted Managed Care companies on behalf of PHC. ? Researches expanding our managed care providers. ? Meets with facility Quality Assurance team Quarterly. ? Makes facility rounds weekly to survey patients to ensure all the patients needs are met. ? Evaluates facility Customer Service quarterly and gives in-services as needed. ?Works closely with PHC Contracts Manager to ensure highest quality of rates in the area. ? Attends facilities weekly Rehab Meetings and provides HMO with weekly updates on their patients. ? Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior, and speech. ? Adheres to Company standards for resolving consumer concerns. ? Adheres to all consumer and resident rights. ? Ensures that residents and families are welcomed and feel comfortable. ? Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills. ? Experience in general office procedure including typing and computer skills necessary. ? Must be customer service oriented. ? Experience working in the healthcare industry. ?Practical experience in a clinical setting. ?Must be able to work after hours and weekends when needed. ?Licensed Vocational Nurse Credentials Preferred ?CPR Certification Preferred

As the job implies, an Admissions Coordinator / Marketer fosters the relationship between patients and the
facilities providing their care. Admissions Coordinators establish patients' eligibility for care, communicating with
families, and interacting with a wide range of staff members from case managers to families to physicians.
A. TECHNICAL :
- ? Establishes the patients eligibility for admission to the facility.
- ? Reviews patients' medical records.
- ? Explains care options to patients and their families.
- ? Interacts with a variety of hospital staff.
- ? Coordinates with the facility staff to ensure that each patient has a smooth transition from
hospital / home to facility.
