we would love an opportunity to speak with you.About the Role : As a Senior Design Engineer based in Zhangjiagang, this position will work with and support the antenna design team to identify and design, integrate solution to customer, and assist with the implementation of Airgain products. This role is pivotal in transforming complex technical requirements into practical, efficient, and scalable design solutions that meet both client and market needs. The Senior Design Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of designs.Essential Function : Design and improve the antenna products that integrate into complex projects.Address integration issues proactively, in collaboration with Field Application Engineers, Sales, Customers, and Engineering.Work within a channel between customer designs and Airgain solutions.Incorporate new technology developments and build a portfolio of previous designs to be used for complex integration.Work closely with manufacturing for the reliable & robust manufacturability of antenna design.Requirements / Qualifications : Advanced degree in electronic engineering or microwave. Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience with WIFI, CPE, FWA device integration and resolving complex integration issues in embedded systemsExperience with base station antenna, small cell antenna design is a plus.Experience with EM simulation tools such as CST or HFSS, as well as familiar with AutoCAD.Experience working with modules, metamaterials.Solid knowledge on EM, antennas, transmission line theory, matching circuits, active and passive RF circuit design, PCB technology.Hands-on approach in performing measurements of S-parameters, antenna radiation patterns and other RF parameters.Aptitude for building prototypes of PCBs, antennas and other components using tools such as milling machines, 3D printers and soldering irons.Strong ability to learn a new technique and willing to research up-to-date techniques.Good communication skills, including written and spoken English.Strong collaboration skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.PIf943d7d695fd-29952-38469185 #True
