Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

A company is looking for a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer / Architect to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Lead security engineering and architecture activities, implementing NIST 800-53 controls

Provide technical leadership and consulting on secure system development and infrastructure modernization

Support incident response analysis and coordinate with IT teams and security stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field

10+ years of cybersecurity engineering or security architecture experience

Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and FISMA compliance

Knowledge of security architecture practices and incident response

Experience in network security architecture and firewall management
