Experience Level :

Preferably 8-15 years in Analytics Technologies, Business Intelligence & Big Data.

Proven Experience in Data Processing, Data Querying, Analytical Dataset Creation, Analytical Algorithms, Analytical Model Creation, Interpretation and presentation of results to relevant stakeholders.

Skill Requirements :

Proven experience with Analytical & Data Mining software like SAS, Microsoft R, SPSS, Open R, WEKA, etc.

Proven experience in SQL & NOSQL languages for data analysis

Strong knowledge of machine learning and statistical methods

Experience in analyzing high volume and high dimensionality data for pattern discovery and hypothesis testing

Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as regression, k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.

Knowledge in Text Analytics, NLP, Unstructured data / Sensor Data Analytics, Social Media Analytics , Deep Learning / Neural Network, Big Data Analytics would be added advantage

Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression etc.

Proven experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Qlikview, Excel or any other equivalent

Working experience with NoSQL Data stores like Hadoop, Cassandra, HBase

Working Knowledge of Java Map reduce, Hive, Pig preferred

Good knowhow about Data & Analytics technologies including Cloud based platforms

Knowledge in Transportation and Logistics domain would be an added advantage

Job Responsibilities :

Translating business challenges / problems to Analytical problems

Ideation of data driven solution to business problems and presentation to business / end users

Should be able to do exploratory data analysis and presentation of preliminary insights to business / end users

Supervise and perform technical platform changes aligned with IT management guidelines

Ensure stability of the overall analytics ecosystem in terms of deployment and enhancement
