Marketing & Communications Specialist

Job Summary : Under the direction of the Director of Development and Communications, the Marketing and Communications Specialist will implement Tree Trust's marketing and communications strategy. The role is responsible for clearly and effectively communicating the organization's mission while strengthening its brand and fostering engagement, which includes increasing program participation, volunteer involvement, donations, and customer sales. The position is responsible for creating and managing marketing and communications content across various platforms, including print and digital media, website management, social media, and public relations.

• Pay rate of $25.95 - 28.85, depending on experience

Essential Functions :

Content Development & Coordination - 40%

Digital Communication and Platform Management - 25%

Program and Fundraiser Marketing Support - 30%

General Marketing Support - 5%

Qualifications / Skills Required :

Preferred Qualifications :

Work Environment : Indoor office environment; Frequent visits to outdoor and indoor participant worksites.

Physical demands : Lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs. Reach with hands and arms. Standing or sitting for long periods of time. Significant screen viewing and keyboarding / typing time, repetitive movement of hands and fingers. Constantly required to communicate with ability to talk and hear.
