In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of computer systems and network infrastructure. You will play a crucial part in supporting employees, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing hardware and software solutions. Accountabilities :

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Set up, monitor, and maintain secure network connections and IT infrastructure.
  • Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and backups to ensure data integrity.
  • Provide technical support to employees and deliver training on new systems or software.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT activities, inventory of equipment, and recommended upgrades.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to optimize operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a computer technician or similar IT role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
