We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships while driving business growth and delivering tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for business development, and a solid understanding of product management principles. This is an individual contributor out bound sales role. You will not be managing a team.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed weekly business development goals.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align client solutions with organizational capabilities.
- Utilize product management skills to manage client requirements and prioritize deliverables.
- Conduct backlog grooming and bug tracking using tools such as Atlassian Jira.
- Lead client meetings and presentations to showcase solutions and drive engagement.
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within client accounts.
- Adapt strategies to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Maintain a competitive edge by staying informed about industry trends and innovations.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business-to-business development or an IT-related role.
- Proven ability to build client relationships and close deals successfully.
- Strong skills in both business development and account management.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of achieving success and demonstrating self-motivation.
- Familiarity with product management practices, Agile Scrum methodologies, and tools like Atlassian Jira.
- Competitive and goal-oriented mindset with a sense of urgency.
