About the Role
The Builder Sales Specialist is responsible for implementing sales strategies for an assigned region. This position will support the sales team on creating demand at builders (single and multi-family), developers, and other channel partners for Residential products. The focus of this role is to increase market penetration, improve product mix to drive profitable growth, and achieve the region's sales goals. In addition, the Builder Sales Specialist will coordinate with sales personnel and RSM to maintain relationships with contractors and distributors.

Demonstrate strong leadership, relationship-building, and relationship management skills. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Strong negotiation skills. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required, specifically : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proficient knowledge of Salesforce.com. Ability to communicate with various levels of the Leviton organization, ranging from top level executives to field personnel. Strong business acumen.
BA / BS in Business and / or Marketing. 8+ years of experience in selling and / or business development, preferably in the electrical industry. Experience with calling directly upon builders and / or contractors. Travel. Must possess the ability to maintain flexibility to travel (50% of time or greater).
