1. Provide leadership for short and long range planning for all aspects of student device programming including but not limited to distribution , repair, receiving,
inventory, policies and procedures, training and suppo rt.
2. Identify and implement emerging trends in educational technology to best serve the
needs of students, staff, parents and district.

3. Work with the district administrative team and technology committee to support,
review and update acceptable use policies and procedures for students and staff.

4. Serve as a member of the District Technology Committee
5. Evaluate, propose and purchase device and peripherals needed to support students' educational experience with technology devices.

6. Implement, facilitate and oversee the district-wide, systemic process for distribution of student devices from district to school level.

7. Work with technology , district and school teams to initiate and maintain all records related to the purchase of devices as well as student and parent consent of identified
expectations as documented through district policy.

8. Assist student technology users in resolving problems associated with distribution.

9. Evaluate and recommend software systems for device tracking and maintenance including inventory and mobile device management (MDM) systems.

10. Maintain, direct and support the inventory of all district technology devices.

11. Enroll and support device maintenance that meets district needs through Mobile Device Management (MDM) system.

12. Coordinate with other district technology staff and building principals to ensure student devices meet the needs of staff.

13. Support the technology department and individual schools in preparing student devices for assessment testing.

14. Provide building level support and / or training for student devices as needed

15. Develop, initiate, and ensure effectivene ss of systemic process for supporting technology in the hands of students.

16. Work with other district technology staff to coordinate, implement and deliver
training to support the technology needs of our students.

17. Provide friendly, timely, and accurate customer service and support for district - related technology needs of students and families of Summit School District.
