Job description

HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry!

Salary : $25-$35 / hr +$1.50 Shift Differential

Shift : Days 5AM-5PM & Nights 5PM-5AM (2-2-3 schedule)

Location : Milwaukee, WI

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to equipment malfunctions.
Install, repair, and maintain all machinery, including conveyor systems, compressors, and hydraulic / pneumatic equipment.
Conduct routine checks of safety systems, alarms, and other facility mechanisms.
Complete all documentation for repairs and preventive maintenance.
Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and suggest process improvements.
Manage the spare parts program in the maintenance shop.
Fabricate parts or source replacements as needed.
Perform all tasks with minimal supervision in a safe and efficient manner.
Be available for off-shift work and / or emergency call-ins as required.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a 24 / 7 production environment.

Working knowledge of tools, power tools, and common devices.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.

Computer literacy with common software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word).

Flexible schedule required for machine start-ups and production demands.
