Quakertown Veterinary Clinic is seeking Kennel Attendants to join our team! Our Kennel Attendants are responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals boarding with facility. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves animals and can provide high-quality, compassionate pet care for our clients.
This is a part-time opportunity. Starting rate is based on previous experience and qualifications. To best serve our clients and their pets, a weekly weekend shift commitment and select holidays are required for this position.
Responsibilities :
- Handle general care tasks such as walking dogs, feeding animals, cleaning cages and litter boxes, and medication administration
- Assist in restraining and bathing animals
- Follow a regular cleaning and sanitation schedule
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
- Recognize and record any unusual condition or abnormal behavior
