American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring an OR RN license, Epic experience, and advanced fetal monitoring certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is based in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with adult Level IV trauma designationCare encompasses labor, antepartum, post-partum, cesarean section, post-op, and newborn patientsWork schedule is 3x12 hour night shifts from 18 : 30 to 07 : 00Weekend shifts required up to every other weekendSome holiday coverage requiredFloating required within the site and across the health system as neededUses Epic for charting; prior Epic experience is requiredPatient care responsibilities may include advanced fetal monitoring and all aspects of labor and newborn careRNs must complete all assigned education and compliance modules within one week of assignment startPre-assignment modules, skills testing, and competency assessments are required and average 4-8 hours to completeAn EPIC Test Out Module must be passed; alternative 8-hour training provided if not passedScrubs can be any solid color; OR / L&D attire is providedFree parking is available in any unrestricted spacesApplicants must provide at least one recent supervisory or manager reference for considerationReturn staff must have a minimum 1 year separation before rehire\n \n Requirements\n
Active Oregon RN license or proof of application and fingerprinting required for considerationMinimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experienceRequired certifications : BLS, ACLS, Advanced NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN or Relias)Experience with Epic EMR is requiredCOVID vaccination required with no exemptions allowedApplicants must reside more than 50 miles from any Legacy facilityFirst-time travelers will be considered\n Benefits\n
