RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist

for the Department of Pediatrics at Newark Beth Israel Medical

Center RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest integrated health

care system, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join

the Department of Pediatrics at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center

in Newark, NJ. This position offers a robust inpatient setting with

opportunities for clinical care, teaching, and collaboration in a

mission-driven environment. The Pediatric Hospitalist will provide

comprehensive inpatient pediatric care for both our newborn nursery

and inpatient pediatric units while supporting resident and medical

student education. This role includes participation in quality and

safety initiatives and departmental activities to ensure delivery

of exceptional pediatric care. Provide consultations to surgical

patients and complete history and physicals for CCIS (inpatient

pediatric behavioral health). Deliver in-hospital care to newborns

and attend deliveries as requested. Supervise, precept, teach, and

mentor medical students and residents. Participate in didactic

sessions, board preparation, and resident evaluations. Contribute

to pediatric quality, safety, and performance improvement projects.

Attend departmental / divisional meetings and participate in

administrative duties as assigned. Board Certified or Board

Eligible in Pediatrics Prior pediatric inpatient or academic
