Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Key West, Florida (33040) – Enjoy Florida healthcare opportunities in a tropical paradise.

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 16, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1840-$1980

Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or compact state

Minimum 1 year recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing

At least 2 completed travel nurse assignments

Clinical experience in L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother / Baby units

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP

AWHONN certification preferred (can be completed onsite)

AHCA clearance required for Florida nursing jobs

Ability to float to other hospital units as needed

Secure housing within 50 miles of the healthcare facility prior to acceptance

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care throughout antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases

Apply the nursing process in accordance with Florida Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care

Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing nursing education

Delegate and supervise patient care tasks based on staff education and experience

Float to other healthcare units as required
