Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Tax Senior Manager in Ohio might include the following :

• Prepares, Reviews, and Signs individual, business, and other types of tax returns for clients in various types of entities and industries.
• Works with the tax team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed, including tax planning, client interaction, and performing special tax projects.
• Reviews tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
• Develops solutions and communicates those solutions to the engagement team and client.
• Manages client relationships by monitoring client needs and delivering value in professional services.
• Manages client billing for accounting services provided.
• Provides mentoring and technical training for employees in the tax department.
• Attends training seminars, professional development, and networking events.
