The Product Developer II is responsible for executing a commercial product that delivers upon consumer, brand, and business needs. This person has extensive knowledge of materials, construction, and manufacturing capabilities that they communicate to the team and translate innovatively into physical product. They are skilled at communicating ideas both verbally and visually to efficiently bring product to the marketplace. The Product Developer II is a skillful problem solver and is constantly evolving to utilize new technologies and adapt greater efficiencies into their own and the team’s workflow.

Primary Responsibilities :

Product Commercialization

• Lead the execution of product commercialization to deliver upon consumer expectations, cost targets, and timeline.
• Collaborates with the greater product team and design team on developing products, components, and trims that meet the quality and appearance of stakeholders.
• Owns the creation and maintenance of BOM, Tech specs, Color specs, Fit specs, and any other necessary materials / assets to get physical product created with factory partners.
• Owns itemized BOMs for individual products and delivers on cost targets with innovative solutions.
• Collaborates on technical specification requirements with global and compliance teams.
• Leads all sample iterations and tracking for their category.
• Prototype, pattern, and conduct market research to validate and ideate upon early proof of concept ideas.
