About The Position

Must-Have :
- Scrub and circulating experience
- Ortho / Neuro experience
- EPIC EMR experience
- Own transportation required
Description :
Prepare and assist in the setup of the operating room for scheduled procedures.
Verify complete preparation of supplies, instruments, equipment, and special order implants / instruments pre-operatively.
Open and dispense sterile items safely and accurately.
Assess special needs related to patient history, surgical procedures, positioning needs, and planned procedure lengths.
Count sponges, sharps, and instruments with the scrub person.
Ensure accurate charge capture for items utilized in the operating room for patient-specific charges.
Requests for time off during the course of this assignment must be noted.
No more than five days of time off will be accepted.
All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission and will not be approved after that time.
Profile requirements include work history and skills checklist current to within one year.
A supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is also required.
License and certifications must be uploaded with the profile.
