On-Call Position
We are looking for a Runner, Production Services whose role, as part of the Production Services department, will be to manage purchasing and costume deliveries required for the Central Costume Shop and Production Services, as required.
The Runner, Production Services will :
- Drive the company van to local vendor locations to purchase and deliver supplies and merchandise for the assigned show production(s) and office(s);
- Assist in the receiving process by delivering goods received to departmental locations;
- Handle petty cash and all receipts and producing expense reports;
- Make purchases using a company credit card, codify the transaction and produce monthly reports in accordance with corporate procurement and financial policies;
- Ensure the company vehicle is kept up and that regular maintenance is performed;
- Assist members of the department with purchasing tasks as assigned;
- Assist with the needs of special events, as assigned by Production Services Management;
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Production Services.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications :
Valid Nevada Driver's License and valid insurance;A High School Diploma;At least one year of previous relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;Knowledge of Las Vegas area preferred;Physical ability to access all areas of the theatre and the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs. without restriction;Fluency in English, both written and verbal;Possess interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts;Professional, neat and well-groomed appearance;Verification of the right to work in the United States for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, as demonstrated by completion of the Form I-9 upon hire and the submission of acceptable documentation (as noted on the Form I-9) verifying ones identity and work authorization.Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is an equal opportunity employer.
