About the Role :
River Region Psychiatry Associates is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Birmingham team, providing comprehensive mental health services to adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who is ready to step into a high-volume, collaborative environment and deliver quality psychiatric care in the heart of Alabama.
Responsibilities :
- Perform psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning for adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient programs.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other providers to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care.
- Share call responsibilities approximately one weekend per month.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
