Eye Care for Animals, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is seeking a Full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team in Wheeling, IL. Practice hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm. N o weekend hours . Some on-call will be required.

Job Overview :
The Veterinary Technician is responsible for a variety of tasks related to customer service and patient care within the veterinary practice. Tasks include animal handling, pre, and post-operative patient care, creating and presenting financial options and estimates, accurately entering service charges into the client processing database, extensive client interaction, and preparing medications. Hours typically vary and may include after-hours and / or on-call responsibilities. We offer competitive pay based on experience $25-35hr. Salaries are also negotiable! Compensation is based on experience and skill set.
