Schedule / Shift Day shift, 3x12-Hour schedule (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Job Description The CT Tech will perform cat scan procedures using prescribed techniques. Responsibilities include reviewing requisitions for completeness, verifying patient information and descriptions of requested exams, adjusting equipment settings, selecting technical factors for proper radiographic exposure, and utilizing standard positioning techniques to obtain optimal diagnostic images. Responsibilities Select appropriate protocols for each CT scan procedure, ensuring optimal levels of density and contrast. Perform scanning procedures of various organs to locate pathological processes. Complete examinations in a timely manner, ordering IV and oral contrast in PowerChart. Document administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner. Perform exam completion, complete screenings / consents, and paper scanning efficiently. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of experience in CT imaging. Preferred certifications : BLS, ARRT, ARRT advanced certification. Must possess a current MD license. Required experience in abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CT angiographies, and multiplanar reconstruction.
