Job descriptionA knowledge of and ability to safely operate agriculture and construction equipment. Excellent mechanical skills, ability to follow instructions and properly use power and hand tools. Ability to read service manuals and schematics and analyze and problem solve. Competence to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner Acceptable Motor Vehicle status, with current driver’s license, and ability to operate motor vehicle Satisfactory results of a pre-employment drug screening Providing safety-sensitive functions including but not limited to, the operation of motor vehicles, other vehicles, equipment, machinery and power tools. Learning and developing practical skills, participating in classes and workshops, observing and learning with a goal of becoming a skilled Service Technician. Completing maintenance and repairs on customer equipment, which may include heavy equipment, tractor / trailers, and other motor vehicles. Testing specific parts and systems to ensure proper function. Identify mechanical problems either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment. Examine critical parts and systems, and replace malfunctioning parts and systems, may include welding. Maintain a clean and safe working environment Acquires and / or maintains a proper stock of equipment, tools, and materials needed to perform work. Plans and establishes timetable to complete repairs and maintenance and prepares quotes for customers. Assess machines and equipment to confirm safe and proper operation. A passion and willingness to become an efficient Diesel Technician A high School diploma or equivalent Completed an Ag Mechanics course Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections Lift up to 50 pounds at times Work safely in a noisy area with moving equipment Competitive hourly wage with overtime pay starting at 40 hours Performance bonus based on billable efficiency Annual company and location bonuses Medical / Dental / Vision Coverage Health Savings Plan Life and Disability Insurances AFLAC Flexible Spending Account 401K Match and Profit Sharing 96 hours of accrued PTO 32 hours of Holiday PTO Six (6) Paid Holidays Bereavement Pay Wellness Plan Company Uniforms
