POSITION SUMMARY :
Performs all technical duties of requested Interventional Procedures / Cardiac procedures. Assists the Radiologist / Cardiologists in the performance of these exams. Must have an excellent knowledge of all Interventional / Cardiac Procedures. Must follow and establish when necessary, quality Assurance and Quality Control policies and procedures pertinent to Interventional / Cardiac procedures. Obtain necessary information from Doctor’s offices. Must possess expertise in setting up and managing sterile and aseptic fields. Must keep accurate records of Interventional Procedures, including necessary equipment chart documentation, patient logs and examination outcomes. Order supplies when needed. Ready for any type of inspection. Maintain and exhibit behavior that promotes patient confidence and trust. Capable of working independently / unsupervised. Responsibilities and duties may be added, changed or deleted at any time at the discretion of the Assistant Director or Director of Radiology, either verbally or in writing.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :
ARRT.
Current BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :
ARRT Certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (Preferred) or minimum of 3 years experience in this specialty.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Subject to Electrical and Radiation Hazard.
As part of employment at Southampton Hospital, there may be occasions when travel to other locations is needed to support operational needs.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established based on relevant experience.
