Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.\n\n\n Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.\n\n\nGeneral Job duties. Types of procedures required.\nFlex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units\n\nShift or schedule requirements.\n12-hour shifts - Night (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.\n\nEquipment utilized in the unit / dept.\nMeditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes.\n\nRequired skills and minimum years of experience.\n2-10 years experience\n\nSpecific licensures and certifications / registrations required.\nBLS, ACLS (Preferred : PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)\n\nFloating to other units / departments.\nMedical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)\n\nBed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept.\nMedical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15\n\nNurse to patient ratio of this unit.\nMedical 1 : 6 for days and eves, 1 : 8 for nights\nLaulima 1 : 6\nCardiovascular 1 : 4\nRatio may vary due to unexpected leaves\n\nDress Code.\nProfessional nursing attire - clean scrubs\n\nTell us about the unit / department specific training and orientation program.\nOrientation time provided for each unit\n
